Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful husband JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our clan. I am most well-known through my Instagram page @annephung. Here I tell my tale of highs, lows, and everything in between. When I was just 1 1/2 years old My family and I immigrated to America. If it weren't because of the sacrifices made by my parents, I wouldn't exist today to share my life with the world. In the hope of having the best life possible I wanted to try my best to please them, and determined to achieve my goals. I thought my life would go one way or another: I'd graduate from college, get a corporate position, get married and start a family. My goal was to go to university, graduate and get an employment in a corporation. After that, I'd marry then buy a house, and start a family. However, life was not so sure. My corporate job in 2013 was one I had a fear of. The status and wealth didn't bring me happiness. I thought I wasted my existence to get a pay check. I had a passion for exercising and enjoyed having fun and helping people when I was navigating my new career path. I discovered my passion for personal training. In 2014, I established my company which will mark the 7th anniversary of my company by 2021. It is rare to find Asian women working in this industry. It is my goal to become a catalyst in the industry to provide high-quality coaching that allows others to become a healthier and happier individual by developing an environment that is sustainable and meets their individual goals and needs. In addition, I strive to motivate others to follow their dreams and goals so that they can achieve what they would like to accomplish. When I began my professional career, the death of my mom was the most devastating hit to my personal life. The eight years she fought struggle with Scleroderma. Then she's in Heaven and I will always have her close to my heart. There is a lot we can learn from our experiences, though we might not be able to spot it in the moment. Many ways, the loss of my mother affected me in many ways. It is my belief that she provided me with another chance to live through her demise. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was her opportunity to start with a fresh start. For me, it was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. In my 30s I am awestruck by the feeling of living and being alive. It's not like I just exist anymore. My goal in the story I am sharing is to inform you that, you are not the only one. I hope that you be aware that love exists and that therapy is common. Your health is truly the most important asset you have. I pray that you live the life you want to live and that you die without regrets as death is the only thing promised to all of us during our lives.
