Canadian actress, best famous for her role as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first role in the year 2019. Earthstorm (2006) as well as The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk has a father, Peter Silk, an academic from Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and Ilkay Silk who is an actor, director and playwright teacher. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around attending play rehearsals, as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk appeared in several commercials while a young child. She graduated with a Bachelors in Arts in 1997 at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was responsible for at least 2 performances in the early days of theatre. They were Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1998). They have two sons named Samuel and Levi. She landed her first major character as Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. CNN recognized her performance as Bo and Lauren, in their relationship as lovers of the same sexe on Lost Girl one of their top TV couples of all time. E! declared them as the Top TV Couples in 2013.
